Hand painted on a 48 by 36 inch canvas, I created this contemporary skyscape from my imagination in the style of Constructivism combined with Impressionism. The lines and boundaries in this painting represent man’s instinct to control and manipulate his environment - even nature itself. Man invades nature, unsuccessfully tries to tame nature, divide, systematize, make it logical. But nature cannot be tamed, cannot be controlled. It has it’s own powerful course and cannot be taken captive, cannot be taken hostage.
